Good news...

You now have the rank of: LEGENDARY!

Honestly, that game was amazing. I have not a single complaint, except for the fact there's not more to play after this one.

AWESOME....... But.

Alright, I have a problem with quite a few things. Honestly, compare this to pointing out the flaws on a supermodel. This game is beautiful, very smooth, and was fun to play. But there's alot of flaws that anyone looking to finish it in one go will be disappointed, which may be a good thing...?

First off, after snorting some leftover cocaine, I found this game incredible. Immersive storyline, beautiful details, etcetera... But as I progressed, I realized the game is more along the lines for those who enjoy Crystal Meth and Cocaine dissolved in Redbull and injected into ones chest.

First off in this game, everything hates you, even the fucking guns hate you. The guns sure are happy with those bad guys, supplying ample amounts of ammunition for them, but if you pick one up, it will leave your hands faster than you picked it up. The lead pipe was my only friend, especially in the zombie room, but I'll get to that in a second.

Bottom line: Yeah, I know, the whole strategy "Know what guns are being used in each level, then you'll never run out of ammo." But personally, on top of the 2897219 guys teleporting in one after another, also the various guns they use and all of the bodies, I cannot even fucking SEE the gun I want, plus it's gone in 5 seconds it seems. Do something about that, I beg of you.

Next up is, you have a bug... A bug that I practically farted a leprechaun over when I discovered it, making the lead pipe my best friend. If you are in melee range of any gun-toting super-soldier, they will not shoot at you. So I just stood next to the teleporter, and greeted each and every glowy-eyed motherfucker that zip-zapped into that room with a genetically superior ass-whooping.

That was all fine and dandy until I got to the Zombies. These guys pissed me off. It wasn't only the fact I could be killed in about 2 seconds if I let my guard down (AKA Not jumping around like the room was flooding with menstrual blood.) I came to hate this room for three reasons...

1) I only had the pipe after I ran out of ammo within 7 seconds. Which I imagine was the idea.
2)The zombies had this awesome ability to blend in with the other 2934923840 corpses I created that were on the floor.
3)This area took almost 15 minutes, considering a few accidental deaths near what I was praying to be the end of that terrible, terrible room.

After I saw that the new area was unlocked, slipping on gray matter rushing my way out of there. I said to myself "This has got to be a boss!" And like a bad blind date I found myself very wrong. I spent a good 5 minutes in the room until I died once more, my pipe trick ineffective due to the teleporters being out of reach, so I exed it out after a well deserved "Fuck This."

Again man, awesome game. Honestly, I had fun with it, mainly because of the engaging story and the scenery changes, but please PLEASE buff the guns a bit. I found myself not being able to enjoy them and their differences as much as possible due to the fact I was constantly playing hot-potato with them.

Thanks for reading. :D

Well I l like it...

For the first part of the game, I just went through like a fucking lawnmower holding A, that worked awesome until the spider cave, then I had to use strategy... Sort of... After that it was pretty easy.

I like the game, but possibilities for improvement are that EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE will absolutely orgasm over a game where you make money, go to a shop, buy better stuff that improves not only the damage and damage mitigation of your character, but also makes him look cooler. Also more engaging enemies, and throw in a few skills, and there you have it.

People like not feeling alone in games, NPCs in towns help to rectify this, and also the ability to hire mercenaries with various skills (Priest, Archer, etc.) makes the game not only more customizable, but much more fun.

Keep it up, I will be on the lookout for your next game should you implement these things. :D

Thanks for a great review!
You have some really good ideas and suggestions which I will keep in consideration for my next game. I am busy making a sequel for this game and will definitely keep your comments in mind. I dunno about mercenaries for hire though. I just dont know if my coding skills are good anough for that. I am still pretty new at making games.

So...

What you're saying is... You submitted an unfinished game, that can't be beaten, but items will be added "Over time" so we CAN beat it? And also more ways to die? No offense, this game is very good-looking, but I'm not exactly on the edge of my seat for updates to be able to finish a newgrounds point-and-click game. Should've actually, you know... finished it first imho.

OzMafioso responds:

Actually, no...Thats not what i'm saying. The items i will be adding are unlockable additional items to make the game a little more interesting. All items needed to complete the game are already in the game. The game is complete. You should try checking out the walkthrough before you rush to judgement.

Well...

The tactless person a couple below me is referring to your spelling of the word "Threat" as "Thread" in the intro.

Either way, flawless example of a Defense game, thank you. :)

DuMondE-nl responds:

Ah ok, I guess we missed that one...
Thank you too for liking it!

The potential is incredible...

But there's no point. In order for a defense game to hook a player in, there needs to be visual change and progression. Every enemy killed needs to yield a reward, and that reward needs to be spendable to buy more weapons, wall, or something visible or that you can "feel" it, such as higher damage, etc. This game has such potential, but it gets very boring when all you do is kill, kill, kill and nothing changes except enemies. Just keep that in mind bro and you have a number one game.

Also the arcing bullets were annoying.

Was it graphic intensive or something?

The ball stuttered and stopped alot, like it was hurting my computer, may want to look into that.

Eh...

The idea was terrible, comical for a more morbid state of mind, but still, terrible. The gameplay was slow, repetitive, boring, etc... I will admit you did put in some work, so you get 3 stars.

You know what? Hey.
